Thai Massage Professional Course

Assessment and Professional Qualification

Assessment includes a practical test and theory exam on an additional assessment day about one month after day 12 of the course, (date to be confirmed). Students must also complete 30 case-studies in their own time plus practice and home-study.

The course is externally assessed by the Acupuncture-Acutherapy Council, leading to a widely-recognized professional diploma in Thai Massage. On successful completion of the course, students will qualify for automatic membership to the Acupuncture-Acutherapy Council as a Thai Massage practitioner and join a comprehensive professional insurance scheme. Student insurance is also available during the course.

The diploma is also recognized by other main therapy bodies including the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) which is part of Embody, the Massage Training Institute (MTI) and the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA). Current members of these organizations are asked to submit their diploma to include Thai Massage on their insurance and apply for CPD points.
