The comprehensive 12-day practitioner course leads to a professional Diploma in Thai Massage recognized by leading national regulatory bodies including the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and the UK Oriental Medicine Association. This course teaches a range of skills which will allow students to use Thai Massage to assess and treat common musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. Please note that due to Adam’s study commitments in his final year of Osteopathy, the next course will be taking place in 2010 with an introductory 2-day Thai workshop scheduled in September 2009 for those considering the professional training.
The introductory 2-day Thai Massage workshop covers all main aspects of the therapy and provides a solid foundation for anyone considering the professional course. Next date 12/13 September 2009.
The school also runs Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshops, aimed at all practitioners and body-workers looking to develop their practice with new treatment and diagnostic skills. Next dates from July 2009.
Adam Carter gives treatments at a Natural Health Clinic and two Osteopathic Clinics in Bristol, working within a strict code of professional practice. His practice focuses on the treatment and management of muscle and joint problems, including the treatment and prevention of sports injuries.
